about
Boosting learners employability
Evrlearn is a platform designed for lifelong learning. The product aims to alleviate the hurdle associated with rapid digitization and automation, poor predictability of one's career, insufficient awareness of new market requirements among the Swiss population and uncertainty associated with the Great Resignation. Through the Evrlearn platform, learners can record their skills, discover curated training offers and boost their employability. Using the platform, alumni, suppliers, and trainers can easily interact, creating a circular skill society that unlocks their potential.
challenge
Increasing site traffic and lead generation
Evrlearn requested thirty3's support in optimizing the platform's user experience and emphasizing its unique selling points to attract more learners.
usability testing
Validate as soon as possible
As part of our preparations for this redesign, we connected with potenial users who are looking for upskilling opportunities. We coducted 5 moderated usability tests to understand how learners perceive the previous design of the course cards, which is a component that has significant impact on conversion.

design system
Accelerate the development process
We closely cooperated with the software engineering team while working on the design. Furthermore, to achieve a fast and less expensive development processes, we introduced a library and specifications of reusable components.
Content can automatically adjust to different screen sizes with the library's components for mobile and desktop devices. In addition, by specifying the states (enabled, hover, focused), we provide a visual representation of a component's status.
outcome
Increased sign-up rate
Based on our findings of the above-described process we redesigned the pages that affect conversion the most and provided the evrlearn team with a design system that will assist in further product development.
